Do you know the name of this butterfly? ;-) Comments by Mark Vaintroub on Tue, 07/28/20 17:48 Have no about the name of this butterfly - I am pretty bad with zoology... :-) Comments by Jan Bjorklund on Tue, 07/28/20 18:42 Being of the same mind as Mark I had to find out what this butterfly might be called and the closest I can come is a variety of Admiral Butterfly (red spotted purple Admiral butterfly). Most of the pictures I saw of this butterfly in a Google had them with their wings spread and viewed from above and that coloring as not similar to one here but a couple had their wings folded and they looked very similar to the butterfly in the picture.
