Journey to Churchill

Normally the polar bears in their pool seem to be oblivious to us human beings but on this particular day the one bear in the pool was swimming when it looked down and it made a bee line directly to where I was standing photographing it and hung upside down looking at me. Just a weird experience for me with those eyes fixed on me and then the bear was gone back to the surface.

Another impressive series of images Jan. Since you have spent hours
photographing them Jan. I wonder if they recognize you. This series
may answer that question.

I just couldn't pass on the child and the polar bear which was busy eating fish.
