The brick work walkway works to lead the viewer through the image to the distant highrises and then back again to the shadowy figures. The second image is more sterile in feel devoid of the shadowy human figures in the first picture... the walkway still leads the viewer deep into the urban setting but there is no feeling of being drawn back to the foreground as was the case with the opening picture. I do find the street lamp on the left in the second image at little overpowering set against the darkened night time setting. Comments by Steve Owen on Fri, 04/13/18 22:56 These are both great!
