Thank you for viewing and commenting. I was hoping to get out today to walk a newly opened portion of the ice trail but it was so cold with the wind blowing out of the northwest that there was a windchill warning in effect with the temperature feeling like -40C that I will put off the walk until a somewhat warmer day. The ice along the Assiniboine River portion that I wanted to walk is clearer than that on the Red River and so I'm hoping to something to come up.

Some nice pics, Jan. I was there one night as well. It was a super
cold night. Took my gloves off and shot some pics with my compact. My
fingers were frozen in ten minutes. I haven't looked at those pics
yet they are still in the camera.
