Last Sunday was a good day for photography. One end of downtown Winnipeg there were the dragon races and at the other a street festival called ManyFest. One had people raising money for charity with the dragon races. The other had music, food, people and a good time was had by all.

Canadian Cancer Society River City Dragon Boat Festival is a fundraiser to fuel the fight against all forms of cancer in Manitoba.

The Downtown Winnipeg BIZ sponsors Downtown Winnipeg's largest festival: ManyFest: All together downtown. Manyfest saw 70,000+ people celebrating on Broadway September 9 - 11, 2016.

I took this shot of the Chuck Copenace Group playing some cool jazz in front of the Legislative Building.
