The rough weathered feel of the images goes well with the nature of the settings. I especially like the image with the inclusion of the red colors on either boat or structures. Even saying that I find the first and third images in the comment section the strongest with me with the solitary structures creating both a sense of peacefulness and loneliness.

All are beautifully composed; the digital effects can seem a bit gratuitous at times.

Dan: I would say the digital effects are a matter of taste. I'm still feeling
my way with them. It's early days for me with a cellphone camera and
cellphone apps.

For me even the last one seems "too much" of a good thing that comes off better by being subtle and not so identifiable.
