Wier Rapids

Last of the color around here. The weekend storm blew all the leaves off.

A sandwich of color with the vivid hues of the leaves set between the blue of the water and the sky. The sunlight highlighting the leaves serves to make them stand out strongly in the picture. An autumn feel comes through well in the image.

A Ruthian composition often has irony/humor among its attributes. Now this one looks to me like nature has gone all punk rocker. Brilliant!

All sugars of the colored leaves, refreshed by the small rapids, Ruth...
:)
It seems a drink to me.

Very pleasing seasonal card.

I don't know about a "drink" or a "sandwich" but it's a well done fall color comp. Around here
the river would be a street bordered by late coming color. Those leaves are now on the
ground? Keeping looking.

Beautiful fall colour and great water action.

Beautiful....Indeed, the sunlit leaves between the blue of the sky and water ( clever analogy, Jan ) makes for a colorful Autumn landscape.....A spot where I would like to linger, a while.

A rather beautiful array of autumn colours. Yes, lots of the leaves have gone here too!
