This Snowbird Didn't Go South

The little bird really stands out in the image with the contrast between the bird and the diffused feel of the background. Clarity of detailing with the catchlights in the eye working to bring the bird to life adds to the visual impact of the picture.

Cute little bugger. I like the softness all around. Background is nicely blurred and good sharpness on the bird. The crop is a little tight for me though but I know how difficult it is to captured these fast little birds.;-)

Must of been very close with this detail if shot at 270mm

Bg coulddo with some noise reduction, were you shooting on an automatic program as 1000iso seems way excessive looking at the other settings
