Very good detail in the Iris Sandy.

I like the contrast (and form also) between the iris and greenery in the background... works to create the sense of an exotic bird caught in flight. Clarity in detailing outstanding especially for shooting on a windy day (even with the use of a tripod).

Tripod! Yippee. Pretty sharp for windy.

The wind does not seem to have affected this at all. Nice and sharp with the details on the flower. They remind me of my Maine kayak trips I usually undertake this time of year. Hiking along the coastal trails on the Isle au Haut you sometimes encounter these wild Irises. It makes me sad that I can't do it this year. Here is a shot from a couple of years ago with my special PS treatment

Very much like the ones that are just starting to bloom in my garden. The flower is very sharp!

In spite of the wind you got a very sharp image, Sandi... :)
So gracefully posed.
