my color infrared

I can obtain this CIRED (color infrared) effect whith a
complicated script of my photo editor... :)

The infrared treatment works to bring a sci-fi feel to the original picture with the nature of the coloring of the sky working to enhance that feel for me. A black background color further enhances the infrared treated image.

The HDR treatment works well with the foreground landscape and buildings (especially with the building along the left edge of the picture which are highlighted by the light coming from the right) but doesn't work with the sky, in my opinion.

Each has its good points. I think I like the HDR best. I like the light. Like there was a break in the clouds after a storm at sunset.

Jan is right: in the HDR the sky needs to be enhanced.
