What was the name of Roy Roger's horse? Dale's was Buttermilk, I think.

Trigger wasn't it? I like the contrast between the darkened buildings, the horse (nice touch with the horse wearing a coat of snow on its back) and the lightness of the snow which really serves to make the structures and the horse stand out strongly in the image. The image just creates a sense of cold in me... I say this as I'm going out to watch the Olympic Flame come to Winnipeg... right by the front door where I live with a big party slated at the Forks after a lighting ceremony. Two hours in the -14C weather and I will need some of the free hot chocolate that is going to be served.

Trigger. A very nice scene but IMO the comp could be improved. You have the bldgs. and
horse bisecting the frame just about across the middle. There's too much foreground IMO
and the little tree at the LLHC is distracting. I'd crop just at the top the tree. That leaves
enough foreground/foundation for everything else and gets the primary subjects out of the
middle.

Lovely winterscape, Linda, nice contrast between the buildings and the wintery surroundings.

Very nice scene Linda. If it was mine I would knock some of the blue out and brighten it, even if as presented better reflects reality.

A lovely setting for the horse - who had obviously spotted you!

Nice image, I especially like how the color of the horse adds a bit of warmth to an otherwise coolish image.

I agree with Jeff's comments, less foreground would be better.

This is beautiful! The limited colors against the snow works very well.
