The diagonal placement of the paddle creates the sense of sparkling water being cast up into the air to capture the sunlight. The silhouetted figure of the kayak (with the rim lighting) stands out quite strongly set against the sparkling nature of the water. Comments by Rory Hudson on Tue, 12/08/09 04:18 I know the lighting situation would have been difficult, but really I think you need to do this either as a complete silhouette, or else showing some detail on the man's face.
