I like the opening picture for the color (especially with the stained glass window at the bottom of the picture) and the sense of symmetry while the b&w version gives emphasis to the geometric shapes to be found in the setting and there is a strong sense of flow that is created by the geometric shapes which works to carry the eyes of this viewer through the image. Both are winners, but I end up preferring the B&W, because I think the foreground stain glass colors in the colored photo, seems just a touch pushed and a touch out of sorts with the rest of the feel of that photo.
