What was the view on the other side of tree was the first thought that came to mind for me and why wouldn't you step around the tree and capture more of that golden light?... or maybe take a lower perspective with the golden lit area at the bottom balanced by some of the darkened form of the tree? Comments by Jeff Dye on Tue, 07/07/09 19:38 If you added up every millimeter of black in this photo it would take up well over half the frame. Wasted space IMO because the tree is too dense. This would work much better if there was some visible branching of the tree. A small aperture would probably get you a sunstar. Nice warm light on the pavement but that's about it and that's not enough IMO, however, if you really like it then all is well.
