Symmetry
Comments by Jan Bjorklund on Fri, 04/10/09 21:31 Back in the day when I used my AE-1 more than once a year this would have been a great image to have shot with Kodachrome 64 and projecting on a wall... truly symmetrical... I find the image works as well with the slightly overexposed bumper cropped out to slightly below the red lights. Comments by Alias on Fri, 04/10/09 22:31 it is an Austin Healey BJ8 NOT an "austin martin" which is actually Aston Martin. Comments by dannyshyan on Fri, 04/10/09 23:06 well I guess the PHOTO itself must not be too bad :) Maybe its actually an Austin Healy 3000 MK111 ??
Comments by dannyshyan on Sat, 04/11/09 00:30 Jan, I agree that the crop you suggest makes for a stronger image.
Comments by Jim E on Sat, 04/11/09 09:32 I don't like the crop. You could possibly straighten it and then crop it a little, but I'd leave the bumper bar in, if at all possible.
Comments by Linda Frey on Sat, 04/11/09 22:26 A Cheshire cat-like grin on that car. I was thinking I'd prefer the 'eyes' not being cropped, but I guess I can live with it. ;-) Comments by dannyshyan on Sun, 04/12/09 20:07 I would have preferred not to have cropped the lights, if I didn't, too much of the car beside the austin would have been in the picture, throwing off the symmetry. Thus i intentionally cropped both lights by the same amount :)
