A cement truck on US 90

A shutter speed of 1/60th second allowed the truck's tires to show "motion" as it went down the highway.
This image was taken on US 90 in NW Florida, USA,
on 8 April 2009.

I like the contrast between that of the cement truck and the little blue car... of course the driver of that car if they looked out their side window would probably wish for less of that contrast and more open door. A black background helps to create the sense of looking out the window of another vehicle taking this photograph.

Did you crop the picture?

Cropped or not, the composition works. I think a picture of a moving vehicle needs space in the front to show where it's going, and it doesn't matter that the back is not shown.

That truck has the largest proboscis I have ever seen!

That shutter speed is pretty slow - you must have panned as well? anyway, it's well done.
