I like the manner in which the lightened nature of the rapids are connected to the distant waterfall with the lightness from the reflected falls, the framing of the lightness of the waterfall with the darkened nature of the foliage, and the sense of peacefulness that is evoked in the mind of the viewer. A grey background works best with this image helping to enhance the detailing to be found in the foliage areas in the upper right and upper left. Comments by Julie M.
