Lovely work Steve, no nits from me. Your shutter speed worked out great.

The manner in which the light highlights the waterfall draws my eyes from the foreground rapids and over the darkened water in between the rapids and the waterfall. I like the manner in which the lightened nature of the rapids are connected to the distant waterfall with the lightness from the reflected falls, the framing of the lightness of the waterfall with the darkened nature of the foliage, and the sense of peacefulness that is evoked in the mind of the viewer. A grey background works best with this image helping to enhance the detailing to be found in the foliage areas in the upper right and upper left.

Steve I recognized this as yours right away. Your waterfall and stream photos somehow remind me of Thomas Kincade's work with light. You have a magical way of presenting the subject matter and capturing it in beautiful light! Love this!

Beautiful, Steve. I flashed on the story of Lorna Doone, which our grade four teacher read aloud to us. I guess it was the romantic feeling of your photo that caused that.
