Smudge Pots

A black background works well with the rust color of the smudge pots while at the same time that black background helps to enhance the textural feel of the smudge pots. I find myself trying to figure out if the grey triangle should be cropped out, or not, and if it is cropped out whether that should be a horizontal cropping or a vertical cropping.

Those little vents looks like sleepy eyes. Appealing colours.

Nothing like a little rusty patina to bring out character. A bygone era, at least in my area where they used to light these things up when I was a kid and the groves were much more plentiful. The comp is really helped with the one that's tipped over. I wish there was more of the gray one in back or not at all.

Shapes, textures and rust colors... ;-)What else is needed!? Love it!
And also like a more abstract composition, cropping down to just loose the darker triangle on the top right corner.
