Yes this would be a great essay for "what I did on my summer vacation." I love the texturing you captured in the rock formation especially further into the image where one can see the pock marked rocks in the right hand quarter and how your perspective along the natural channel works to lead the viewer through to the ocean. Best against a black page color for me.

If you came down to California this looks like a channel at Point Lobos near Monterey
although there’s probably more than one along the rocky coast. In any case it’s perfect.
If it was mine I’d have to move some framed photos to make room for it.

BINGO, Jeff! I seem to remember that you had something very similar
in your portfolio some time ago, but that's all gone now. I would not
be surprised if it was this very same piece of rock that you posted.
It would have been fun to get together. JJ and I got out to shoot
together a little while I was up in his neck of the woods. That was
fun. Here's something different for a change...

I have something similar but it doesn’t compare to the lines and texture in your photo.
