P&S Meadowhawk

These types of dragonflies are very small in size...about more than a inch. I think I was about 4 feet from this one that was sitting down in the marsh. First time using my compact camera on a dragon so all in all not too bad of a shot. I going to try to see if I can get a better portrait next time I am at this spot. Thanks.;-)

I would have to agree that is shot of Meadowhawk dragonfly is truly striking and detailed especially in regards to the veining one sees in the wings of the creature. The dragonfly stands out well set against the background greenery.

This is an excellent shot of a Dragonfly using a p/s. Good detail and
texture

Good vibrant colours looks like a bit of flash used.

Pretty good for compact, but leaf looks to be more touch more in focus than tail, perhaps a bigger f stop next time
