Northern "Lights"

While photographing the northern lights in Northern Montana recently, I
captured this image that also includes several meteors. I had noticed one
fireball while shooting, but didn't know there were so many at the same time.
This was a 13 second exposure.

I would agree strongly with Sandi on your Northern Lights composition. I find either a grey or black background color serves to enhance both the colors and the detailing in the image.

Gorgeous. Ominous.

Ominous indeed! It's a good thing you didn't title it, "KOREA"
It's amazing that you can point your camera up, open the shutter for
a few seconds and get meteors like that, isn't it?
