Upper Kananaskis Lake - September 28, 2017

One of those early-autumn days that are more like summer.

Most days, a steady west wind prevents the mirror image it produced
today.

I prefer the opening picture with the added hook of the second peak on the left and the tree on the left leaning into the image as if sharing your perspective across Upper Kananaskis Lake. I do love the rugged nature of the mountain across the lake with the complementary nature of the greenery and the grey rock face of the mountain.

I'm with Jan. That distant peak is inviting! Beautiful work.

"He leadeth me beside the still waters".......That image still gives me
comfort today as it did so many years ago when my 3rd grade teacher Miss
Toomey would begin each school day by reading the 23rd Psalm aloud to
the class before we started our school work. Thank you, Miss Toomey.

This brings out the Awe in me, He creates such beauty, then allows an
despicable atrocity in LV.
