A wonderful painterly feel to your image of the Cedar Waxwing baby and mom with the catch light in the eyes working to bring the pair to life in the setting.

It's great you were able to get both of them in the shot. The leaf behind the mother's head is unfortunate, but I am sure you were happy to just get a shot of them together. Nice.;-)

Thanks for commenting. It's not often I see a single Cedar Waxwing,
never mind 2 of them showing love for each other. I was told that the
feeding I witnessed is actually a mating ritual, so it wasn't feeding
a baby .
