Friday of this past week and the geese are back in town as noisy and raucous as ever. I caught this sequence on a morning walk from the moment the goose on the right landed until it rather quickly made its exit with other two geese voicing their disapproval.

"I'm out of here," says the goose in the middle to no-one in particular.

I took 20 images of this squabble in the course of 7 seconds and then the squabble was over.

Nice action shots Jan. There is absolutely no social distancing with this bunch. This is mating season
and you will also see something similar with ducks.

Like you Jan, the Geese are the only birds in town. The Red Wing
Blackbird are trickling in too.
I have been resisting the urge to go out to shoot discretely.
Following a min 20 ft distance from people, and not touching
anything. Things are not getting better, almost accelerating it
seems.

My first sighting of geese this year taken earlier in the day to the posted images of the goose squabble. This was looking north from my apartment.

the gulls flew off on my approach and then came back and all the while the lone goose at the top just took it all in

I really like you last photo but they all show how vicious geese can be. However, these being Canadian geese are setting a bad
example to the world for all of us Canadians known for being good natured, friendly, and easy to get along with. :)

October 24, 2019 and the next day there was not a Canada goose to be
found around downtown Winnipeg
