I think all the superb adjectives have been used for the bird postings by yourself and Steve. I find myself fortunate to capture a blurred image of a bird and once again here we find a stone cold image full of detailing, color and the catch light in the eye working to bring the Red-Tailed Hawk to life.

Learned something today. The screech associated with the bald eagle, in fact, belongs to a different bird. ... If you were to look up at the bird making that sound in real life you wouldn't see a bald eagle. They dub over it with a red tailed hawk's cry.

I keep coming back to this one. It is one of my favorite birds,
because I've photographed them so often. I'm just not sure of the
color balance. I love the eye contact and eye level with the detail
in the breast.

I agree with Steve about the color balance but the details are spot on. Good job, Michael.;-)

I better rework this one! I let the idea of sunrise run amok in my imagination. I was actually there at sunrise, but the sky was mostly overcast. Thanks for the critiques.
