With only the stragglers (for ducks and geese) left in my area I looked back at some of the shots I managed during the past year.

I was out at the University of Manitoba photographing statues when I came across this family of geese and I liked the complementary nature of the goslings feeding on the green grass and the ever vigilant parent bird keeping watch.

Nice set of photos. Those four goslings in a similar poses in the OP
is very cute. My favorite is the 3rd (2nd in the comments) -- I like
the processing and the goose peeking from behind the tree.
