There is distinctive vintage feel to your image of the old school. The feel, for me, is of an image taken years ago which has faded slightly over time. I do find the interplay of sunlight and the long shadows cast by the grave markers add to the nature of the setting.

As Jan said a vintage feel. That large grave marker on the right is
leaning precariously to the left

It seems odd to have a school right next to a cemetery. Capital
punishment for school offenses?

Nice old stone building, softened by the surrounding trees.

I thought the title refers to your camera, and that the building next to
a churchyard is indeed a church. Lovely light on the stones, but the
building appears to lean to the left.
