Very geographic in feel with the shape of the larger green portion suggesting the southern part of South America with the smaller green creating the sense of Antarctica. The textural component adds to that feel for me. Best with a black background.

Italy and Greenland, Jan. Or maybe this is a new country called Rustoleum, surrounded by the Iron Sea. Looks like a nice place to visit for photographers who love decay, as most of us do.

There are a few boat docks at the lake which are rolled out onto the shore for winter.
The wheels were painted green at one time.

Lucky you, Linda! Those rusty surfaces are hard to find here in New England. Most
junkyards are gone. I have a piece of stainless steel with scratches in the backyard. It is
developing some rust. I hope if I scratch it some more, it will develop something
appealing to photograph.

Do you think that will work?
Michael?

I think it is Italy & Sicily

This would make me stop and spend some time. Very nice.

Italy broke her heel, poor thing.
Wanting more sharpness for those misplaced Sicilians.

That's a great map you found, Linda.;-)

Aha,....What I've always suspected...That the planet,Earth is just a
rusty wheel on the Chariot of the Gods ! :-)

Ha ha, good one, Bruce!

Els, be careful about having rusty objects is your yard. They attract pests with cameras.

Wonderful colors! Indeed, it does looks sort of cartographic. Yes,
the Sicilians seem to be floating off to the right -- perhaps to hook
up with some Greeks.

I gave it another try to get it sharper on the bottom curve either due to the curve of the wheel, or maybe it was the curve of the earth?:-)

Oh, and the heel of the boot didn't show up the second time either. Maybe it is floating around out in the lake somewhere.
