Journey to Churchill

I've not had much luck with the polar bears as a favourite subject over the last couple of months and I was expecting not much when I went to the Journey to Churchill exhibit this past Saturday and it was not until I went to the former wolf enclosure which had been converted to another home for the polar bears that I came across two polar bears that became very engaged in a small pool... play perhaps but I called it rough housing.

I included some images from other seasons and other locations.

Some of the polar bears are pure white spending a lot of time in water but there is one bear that is rather on the dirty side. So while the other two were rough housing in the pool this bear was watching the planes coming and going from the airport.

I like your O.P. as well. One look at it brings a relaxing smile.

The close engagement caught in the first 2 posts work well, but portraying different sides to their behaviors.

Perry:

Thank you for taking the time to view and to comment. Much appreciated.

I like to watch the interaction between the bears. One knows in the wild that the polar bear is usually a solitary creature but in the Journey to Churchill exhibit one sees a lot of exchanges ranging from play through to
anger.

All of the polar bars in the exhibit have their own names but it is difficult to really name the individual bears unless one is fortunate enough to come across one of volunteers who knows the bears by their markings.
