Dexter Making A Break For It

Morgan lets Dexter go on a walk about every now and then.
Judging from the smile on his face, he enjoys it. Morgan
took the photo.

Dexter stands out strongly in the image created by the contrast between himself and the diffused nature of the background... creates the illusion of movement in my mind. What is the red element on Dexter's skin... I would imagine an opening for his ear?

According to Morgan, you are correct. There's also an opening near
the tip of his snout which we think is his nose (nostril actually).
Personally, I don't understand how they could focus on anything with
their eyes so far apart.

These are both good. I'm feeling a bit out of the loop though.
Who's Morgan?

Hi Paul - I hope you will forgive my presumptuous nature. Morgan is my
pseudo grandchild who was first introduced to this site about 11 or 12
years ago. In fact, the earliest photo (that I can find) that you
commented on was back in January of '06 (posted under J.I. Rogers). While
we tried to post only upbeat shots, it was pretty obvious what she was
going through - the photo below was directly after 9 rounds of chemo. Some
of the old guard like Linda Frey and Maria Salvador always remembered the
rough times as she grew. I just assumed everybody remembered her - my bad.
But allow me to re-introduce her to you. In 2 months she will be a 17 year
old, beautiful, intelligent, young lady whose interests are varied

Morgan today.

That's pretty cool! And one of those interests is obviously
photography. Nice thing to have in common with your pseudo grandchild
- a relationship that I haven't heard of before, but which obviously
carries some weight. Cheers!
