The Mill

The Red Mill is a 4-story grist mill and historic site located along the south branch
of the Raritan River in Clinton, New Jersey. It was built around 1810 as an industrial
mill. It has served several roles, including a wool processing plant, a peach basket
factory, and a textile mill.

I marvel at buildings like this... starting as a functional construction and over the years adopting many various roles and then becoming an artistic endeavour... should my apartment block last this long.

Nice spot you found...like the red building and autumn colors. Wish the sky was more interesting though.;-)

Interesting history behind the building. Hard to say without being there but the building
is cramping the edge of the frame. Too much white sky as already pointed out. A good
scene to spend some time with.
