Manyfest crowds on a Friday Night

Images from Manyfest from September 2015 to September 2019. As with so many festivals in the world in the year of COVID-19 Manyfest was cancelled this year.

There were so many memorable things with Manyfest but for me it was the people that made this festival stand out in my mind bringing people to downtown Winnipeg for the end of the year.

Downtown’s largest street festival has continually grown over its existence, with average crowds of 70,000 predicted to once congregate around Memorial Park at Broadway over the course of three days and nights for some family-friendly revelling.

The festival year went out with a bang... food truck wars, artisanal vendors, musicians, rides and carnival games and movies.

Your images looks like a fun time. I like photographing festivals, so
many opportunities for pictures.
There's talk of cancelling Halloween in Montreal, I know it's
cancelled in Ontario. My eldest Grand Daughter graduated high school.
They had the ceremony in a exterior drive-in movie property. One car
per Graduate, only graduates can exit cars and stand in front of their
car.

It seems strange to see so many faces and no masks. The only place
you might see something like that here would be at a trump rally.
