The Monarch stands out strongly against the flowers with the flowers having a paintlike feel to them. It is difficult to look at the Monarch Butterfly and realize its long migration route and maybe the termination in Mexico is in danger of simply disappearing... what then with the Monarch?

Beautiful, Steve. The colors are really nice and good catch. What's that other bug on the bottom?;-)

Thanks for commenting.
I was engrossed with some bug, when the Monarch flew by. You've never
seen a 70 yr old move so fast. I followed it until it landed on a
green stalk and I got low as possible and fired off a couple frames.
Sandi the small stripped bug is similar to a wasp's body in color and
design but has no wings or head like a Wasp. It has 2 long antennae
on the head.
