Starling Mom feeding baby

Getting down to their eye level, can be challenging. I
don't bait them. The little one runs to it's mother when
her beak is full , that's what caught my eye. I laid down
on the ground and waited for Mom to do her job. Cloudy day.

As you describe it patience is a virtue to get the truly striking image as you have here with the mother starling feeding her offspring.

These are super shots. It looks like they knew you were there and
posed for the camera, even the angle of the shot is spot on.

I like the second image the best. Good job on getting down low for these shots...not easy to capture them at feeding time.;-)

Thanks for commenting. The Mom was too quick to catch alone, she
only slowed down to place the food in the baby's mouth. Maybe 30 ft.
away hard to follow using the telephoto.
