New Year's Eve

I just wanted to get some shots from New Year's Eve down at the Forks in Winnipeg. The opening picture was taken from the second level of the Forks Market. It was a crush of people on the first floor but then again there was a crush of people everywhere at the Forks on this last evening of 2019.

Let the old year end and the New Year begin with the warmest of aspirations. Happy New Year!

Huttie, the warming hut, was being put to good use on what really was a relatively warm December 31st evening with an air temperature of -10C.

I walked down the hill from the Forever Bicycles sculpture to get more of a ground level shot with people viewing the fireworks
