Asiatic Lilies

The images in this series came to mind as we in Winnipeg sat on the threshold of the coldest temperatures so far this season with the low on Sunday night forecast to reach -27C with a windchill of -34C.

And then of course there is the matter of snow blanketing the city and turning everything white with few signs of color to be found anywhere.

Beautiful flowers Jan. I remember shooting Short Ear owls at St
Hubert Airport at -40c with windchill. It was quite the experience
and no cameras were injured at that shoot.
