Sullivan's Pond Geese

There are 9 geese that roam around Sullivan's Pond In Dartmouth. They are all use to people and this particular one came running up to me probably because he
notice I had a camera ... or not. He actually took a liking to my sneakers and gently started pecking at them till I started petting him on the back which he
didn't seem too fussy about then he slowly turned and wandered off. Mostly they come up to you looking for food which is why they are use to people. Next
month, once the weather gets colder, animal rescue will gather them up where they will enjoy a nice warm barn during the winter months and returned back again
in the spring.

I like your close up of the goose with that blue eye really standing out against the white plumage. Your comments really serve to flesh out the image along with the picture of the entire group of geese in the comment section.

Many years ago where I used to work we had similar geese but the only person that could ever approach them was a small individual that the geese took a liking to... everyone else was a target for wings and beaks.

A+ for getting detail in the whites while keeping good saturation in
the rest of the goose. Catchlight would have been nice, but that
doesn't seem critical here.

I like the second shot. Fog, colors and contrast of the whites. I will have to visit this park again soon. Very nice, Gerry.;-)
