Mahone Bay, one of the most iconic places in NS. You must have been there very early in the morning before the wind came
up. Perfect timing. Where the harbour is so calm it's almost hard to tell which is up. Try framing it is my only
suggestion. Nicely captured.

You are right, Gerry. I was there early this morning before the storm clouds started to roll later in the morning. First time I took a shot of this iconic area and I hoping I can get a shot during the colorful leaves this autumn. Thanks for your nice comments.;-)

I would agree with Gerry as to the calm nature of the water making it difficult to tell which way is up or down. I would also agree with your thought of shooting this setting with the changing colors of the autumn leaves. I really like this image against a black background which complements the blue sky and helps to bring out the detailing to be found with the churches and the foliage.

"He leadeth me beside the still waters
He restoreth my soul..."

Psalm 23

My 3rd grade teacher , Miss Toomy, began class each day
with a recitation of the 23rd Psalm ....

I don't consider myself particularly religious , but these
words comforted me then and they still move me, today.

This image is calming as well.....nice work, Sandi

Hope you don't mind - had to see what your image looked like edited.
Was thinking the image might look great as a retro photograph...

I'm just wondering if the framing foliage has changed color yet in this setting?

I like it. I might like it even more if the everything was symmetrical
so that the symmetry we see is perfectly symmetrical. I hope that
makes sense! Top and bottom and left and right.

Sorry, I guess you couldn't make the left and right symmetrical as the
churches are not equidistant.
