One would imagine the dragonfly would have the upper hand in this attack. The size of the eyes of both creatures hit me first when I opened this image.

I should have waited for your further posts to post a comment. I like the complementary nature of the coloring of what I take to be a wasp?, and the flower on which it is perched. That spider looks so menacing but in reality it is just being protective of the young spiders that are hinted at below it.

I quite like your bee compositions... I think that is because one sees so few bees anymore (and knowing how valuable they are to our well being).
