Airshow Halifax

Thousands of people lined both sides of the harbour today to view the Royal Air Force Red Arrows from the United Kingdom (UK). Unfortunately due to the low
cloud cover the air show was limited to just fly-overs.

This seagull was not Photoshoped in, it just photo-bombed one of my
pictures. Timed perfectly.

I like the images in the comment section especially the one with the photo bombing seagull. The opening picture is a good lead in to the following pictures where there is nothing but the planes and the sky (except of course for the photo bomber gull).

I like the OP shot. The horizon is a bit crooked but if you straighten it out that will make the planes crooked and you don't want that.;-) I thought the air show was always in September? Its been many years since I have gone to a show when the snow birds were a common display then.

Sandi, you are right both times. The air show is usually in Sept. but it which we haven't had
one in a while. I also struggled with straightening the photo and decided in the end it works
better as is only because of the jets along with the smoke trailing behind. Thanks for
commenting.

It's the perspective that needs adjusting and then it all falls into place :@}}}
