bee in morning glory

A series made up of pictures that I took during July 2019.

I was taking some images of flowers in the public gardens on my daily walk when suddenly a bee came flying right into the morning glory and I had to have this shot. The first bee of the year that I've managed to photograph that was more than just a black blob.

I have the sense, from a human perspective, of one diving into a pool from the position of the bee.

The colors of the morning glory along with the accompanying leaves also appealed to me.

I was watching this group of geese mowing the grass and I liked the combination of the geese and the spire of the Esplanade Riel Bridge.

There has been some vivid colors and cloud patterns at sunset this July as with this image. On the longest day of the year the sun sets behind the Manitoba Hydro Building on the left. By July 23 the setting sun has move to the left.
