A truly eye catching series of birds with the contrast between the individual birds and the background serving to make the birds stand out strongly in the images.

I find myself leaning towards the mallard and the teal with the beautiful colors on their plumage and the detailing to be found in each of the images.

I have read about the Snow Bunting in a local Manitoba birding site and I've wondered what the bird looked like.

The Snowy Owl seems almost as if it has been sculptured from the snow we see falling around it.

And then there is the catch lights in the eyes which serve to bring the individual birds to life before my eyes.

Beautiful photos, they should be on National Geographics.
