I like the color here (especially with the image set against a black background) which captures the sense of cold (both from ice and water), the sense of texturing from the various pieces of ice and the detailing found in the little ice formations (especially the central piece that puts me in mind of a shell... turtle shell perhaps).

I can certainly relate to your title on this day with windchill down in the -40Cs in southern Manitoba.
