Peppers so Bright, I Gotta Wear Shades. Paraphrasing from the song "The Future's So Bright, I Gotta Wear Shades" by Timbuk3.

With help from PS I quite liked the result of the colors of these yellow and red peppers that I found recently at our local downtown Farmer's Market. An interesting location to spend some time each Thursday for both the people but especially for the colors that one can find in the various booths and displays.

I like the complementary nature of the lady's hair and the colors of the vegetables.

Hot stuff, Jan! The one just above is my favorite, for the glistening
shiny skins and punchy, earthy colors.

A cornucopia of vegetables tumbling top to bottom in the image. Brings to mind the kind of produce that used to come out of my mother's garden in Vancouver, B.C.

Lovely shapes and colours. Everything looks very appealing and tasty. Those long
yellow vegetables are yellow zucchini, by the shape of the stems.

Great photographs of the Farmer's Market, Jan! So great there are so many all over
North America now. You inspire me to do a series of our own Farmer's Market on
Sundays. Soon enough it will be over again and I will regret not taking pictures there.
