Port Dalhousie Beach after the storm

1/60 sec, f8, iso 640.
We had the edge of a hurricane through here yesterday, I took this last night as the winds dropped. I kinda like it, but feel it needs something. I'd appreciate your advice.

Thanks

You might try lightening it a little and cropping to move the
lighthouse out of the middle of the picture.

I would agree with Dale. I find a crop from the left edge to just the edge of the shoreline around the lighthouse works for me with everything then moving towards the right in the image (the birds, the individual walking along the shoreline and the waves themselves).

Needs a safe to swim sign, pollution plant is just around the corner.
Or a enjoy this beach sign because the developers will surely screw us out of it.. Just like the other side of the channel.. A longer lens and move to the right.. Better yet move left and less sky ... tripod my help.
