I found this African Marigold in a pop up park in downtown Winnipeg. I was really interested in getting a macro shot of a bee on a flower but so far this summer I have not been able to spot a bee anywhere in the downtown. So have had to be satisfied with the flowers alone.

Gaillardia....."blanket flowers " The common name may refer to the
resemblance of the inflorescensce to the brightly patterned blankets
made by Native Americans. " Wikipedia

The number of things I have yet to learn might well be found in a
book........A very very very big book.
