I had been taking some macro shots of flowers around downtown Winnipeg and as I was returning from shooting the blossoms I took the following shots of the lights in the CN underpass.

I enjoy the exercise of trying to make something out of nothing unless one considers lights in an underpass high art and I find the effects in Flaming Pear really suit that purpose for me.

Flaming Pear kyoto color (25,93,85,75,burn)
CS3 brightness/contrast (70,0)
Flaming Pear swerve (100,75,0,normal)
flood (54,0,23,21,
39,23,50,1,
30,1,4,normal)

Nikon D7100
AF Micro Nikkor 60mm
f22 1/1000 60mm

Taken July 6, 2018.

These abstract creations do affect the viewer in psychological ways, and so I could not view them for very long without being partially hypnotized. To me the 5th post, is the most effective, though I imagine it's different for everyone. Maybe an antidote to the subliminal advertisements we are continually be bombarded with?
