The view through the V opening takes one's breathe away with both the rough trail on the left, the stream on the right and the very slopes of the adjoining mountains serving to lead the viewer towards that opening. I like this image with a grey background which works, for me, to enhance the overall toning of the image while adding to the... what I take to be moonlight highlighting the rocks, the streams and the slopes themselves.

This is a scene from a blockbuster film. Mass and grandeur and direction. Impressive!

I've become rather jaded with landscapes over the years because so many are rather formulaic. This is a nice deviation.
