If the female is on the branch first she lowers her head to protect her eyes when
the male comes in. I was tripod mounted and focused on the female. As soon
as the male's head entered at the right side of the frame I fired continuous high
and got about 10 shots. Seem to be gone now until next year. Thanks for

Always fascinated with this perspective of the underside of the wings of any given bird showing the patterning and colors. Normally never get to see this view and I really appreciated being able to view the birds from down under, so to speak.
