the home might be in need of a paint job but the combination of the reddish shutters and the white snow really holds one's attention

Yeah, but if the owner painted it there would be little reason for a camera stop. A wall
worthy photo. A very minor nit: if I was there and though of it (questionable) I would've left
the graceful line of snow unbroken.

I would have shot in raw with a minus increment on the exposure control.
Why would a guy paint over plants and trellis...
Scrape, and paint in late July!
Looks like a sprayer job.
Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do!
Might have been sprayed on a wet surface as well.
I like it, the paint on the trellis balances the photo.

Good eye, Steve! Nice color combination and composition. I like Jeff's suggestion.

Thanks for the suggestion, and I agree. I had room to do it too, but
felt the snow was blown out.
I must have past this house a few times (I wasn`t driving) looking
for Snowy Owls. I was with birders who don`t share my interest in
barns, took this while they`re were shooting a Snowy on top of a
silo. Thank you for your comments, constructive and helpful Jeff.
